ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds of the formula Image wherein R1, and R2 are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl, and lower alkylene, and R1 and R2 together with nitrogen can form a ring having from three to seven members; R3 and R4 are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkylene, hydroxy, methoxy, amino, alkylamino, thio, thioalkyl, and halogen; ring A has from 5 to 8 carbon atoms; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are useful as anticonvulsant agents for treating epilepsy.
