ABSTRACT A joint-taping apparatus for wallboard (drywall) having a barrel provided with a pistol grip at one end for manipulating the apparatus and a head having a nozzle removably mounted on the other end of the barrel for directing and dispensing joint adhesive beneath tape dispensed by rollers supported on the head above the adhesive dispensing nozzle. The adhesive flows from a reservoir through the barrel and head nozzle from a pump mounted on an adhesive reservoir. A trigger on the barrel can electrically shut down the pump motor and simultaneously close a valve to prevent additional unwanted adhesive flow through the barrel and nozzle.
