ABSTRACT This invention relates to a piston pump with a reciprocatingly moved piston which by its movement can shut off one or more openings in the surrounding cylinder. The pump is characterized in that an inlet is designed in the cylinder and is situated in the area above the piston head when the piston is in the bottom position. At the top of the cylinder there is an elas- tic or resilient, reciprocatingly movable opposed piston at which there is correspondingly designed an outlet in the area above the head of the opposed piston when this piston is in its bottom position.
