PISTON SEAL Abstract of the Disclosure A seal for a reciprocating piston is disclosed which is comprised of an annular chamber around the periphery of the piston partly defined by axially spaced wiper members. The seal is achieved by liquid confined in the chamber between the piston and the cylinder. A fluid reservoir mounted for movement with the piston is connected by means of suitable passages to the annular chamber to supply fluid thereto.
