A pitot tube pump for pumping a fluid has a pump casing with a suction connection for receiving a fluid, a discharge connection for discharging the fluid and a central axis. A rotor assembly is mounted for rotation around the axis and in the casing. The rotor assembly has a rotor defining an internal volume, and a rotor cover connected to the rotor for closing the internal volume. The rotor cover contains a plurality of radially extending rotor cover passages for communicating the suction connection with said internal volume for passing fluid from the suction connection to the internal volume by centrifugal force due to rotation of the rotor assembly. Each rotor cover passage has an inlet end near the axis and an outlet end at a joining area between the rotor and the cover, near an outer perimeter of the internal volume, said outlet ends of said passages having surfaces which smoothly transition without corners and without steps, to the perimeter of said internal volume for reducing turbulence of the fluid in joining area. A fluid seal between the rotor and the rotor cover in the joining area is elongated. A pitot tube is fixed to the casing and extends in the internal volume of the rotor, the pitot tube having an inlet opening near the outer perimeter of the internal volume for receiving fluid in the volume, and an outlet end communicating with the discharge connection, for discharging fluid to the discharge connection.
La pompe à venturi servant au pompage de liquide comprend un carter muni d'un raccord d'aspiration pour recevoir le liquide, un raccord de refoulement pour le rejet du liquide et un arbre central. Un rotor monté dans le carter tourne autour d'un arbre. Le rotor délimite le volume interne (chambre), et un couvercle est raccordé au rotor pour fermer la chambre. Le couvercle du rotor comprend plusieurs passages qui sont disposés radialement pour assurer le passage du liquide du raccord d'aspiration à la chambre au moyen de la force centrifuge produite par la rotation du rotor. Chaque passage du couvercle du rotor comprend une extrémité d'entrée près de l'arbre et une extrémité de sortie au niveau d'une zone de jonction entre le rotor et le couvercle, près du pourtour externe de la chambre, les extrémités de sortie des passages comportant des surfaces qui passent doucement, sans comporter d'angles et de crans, au pourtour de la chambre afin de réduire la turbulence du liquide dans la zone de jonction. Un joint d'étanchéité ovalisé est compris entre le rotor et le couvercle du rotor dans la zone de jonction. Un venturi est fixé au carter et se prolonge dans la chambre du rotor, et il comporte une ouverture d'entrée près du pourtour externe de la chambre pour la réception du liquide dans la chambre, et une extrémité de sortie qui communique avec le raccord de refoulement pour le rejet du liquide vers ce dernier.
