ABSTRACT Pivot mounting of the saddle with a cradle which receives a gun barrel, especially a projector tube The pivot mounting for the saddle with a cradle, which receives a projector tuba or the like, has a bottom plate which is pivoted in respect of a base plate and can be turned by means of a gear unit. The gear unit (12) consists of a drivable worm gear unit (16, 17) and a toothed gear unit, which grips together with the base plate (10), and also of an interposed coupling (26) which interrupts the connection of the gear units.
