FORM 24 ABSTRACT In a paint roller tool it is known that two parts, a frame usually made of 8 m/m steel rod, and a handle, are rigidly attached to each other. The frame, of varying configurations, forms at the top a long- itudinal axis on which a cylindrical device, that holds the paint bearing sleeve, rotates. This frame ends in a vertical shaft that is securely anchored into the handle, which at its lower end has a threaded opening to accommodate an extension handle. The purpose of the rigid attachment of the frame to the handle is to prevent any uncontrollable movement of the frame during the operation of this tool. In this invention the paint roller tool is fitted with a moveable frame that is set into the vertical mortise of the handle. The shaft of the frame is attached to the handle by means of a tightenable axis running through the handle and the pivotal joint of the frame shaft. The axis is tightened with sufficient torque at the outside of the handle to allow the setting and retention of any relative position of the frame during the operation of this tool.
