ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE. A plane comprising a body between the side walls of which two soles are fixed, the lower faces of these soles being located in a common plane. A V-shaped open- ing is provided between the soles. A blade-holder mounted on a shaft comprises a lower blade, a removable cutting blade and a counter-blade which is linearly displaceable relative to the lower blade. An arresting device articulated on the side walls maintains, in service posi- tion, the blade-holder against a bearing face of the sole.
