PLANE MIRROR WITH CURVED EDGES Abstract: A single element plane mirror that has all its edges, some of its edges, or part of its edges curved; the plane central part of the mirror gives a true undistorted picture of the main field of view, while the curved edges, though produce a distorted picture of the periphery, widen the angles of view. The mirror is intended to be used by motorist; it is a one piece article that can easily and cheaply be fabricated; it combines the advantages of both plane and convex mirrors.
