ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE. To permit misalignment of shafts coupling a sun wheel, an annulus, and a cage structure of a planetary gear, the planet wheel on the cage structure is formed as an engagement wheel pressing a flexible belt, such as toothed belt or a sprocket chain, against an internal gear (6, 106) of the annulus (5, 105), the flexible belt (5, 15, 115) being looped in part about the gear (3) of the sun wheel (2). The cage (8, 8', 108) is a structure which includes at least one, and preferably three or more radially projecting arms (9, 10, 11, 109) on which respective planet wheels are carried, ensuring engagement of the flexible belt with the internal annulus gear and positioning said flexible belt for being looped about the sun wheel.
