A planetary power shifting transmission for motor vehicles, in which the speed ratios are shifted without the use of a clutch and without decreasing engine acceleration. Wherein the novelty comprises an input shaft, double face-bevel gears having extended hubs. Said hubs comprising internal splines for connection to input shaft and outer race for providing support for bearing assemblies. Planetary bevel gear sets comprising planet carriers. Said planet carriers having outer periphery brake drums, and being rotatably mounted on bearings assemblies on the support hubs. Driven sun gears. Said sun gears are a combination of bevel-externally toothed gear as a integral unit, said combined gears are rotatably mounted on bearings assemblies on the support hubs. A set of flexible brake bands for holding stationary the planet carriers for selectively operating the transmission at one of a plurality of speed ratios. A series of gears securely mounted on a rotatable output shaft.
