A method of planning simultaneous use of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis, characterized in that use is made of a dialytic effect exhibiting index common to peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. In particular, the method is characterized in that the quotient of the ratio of M/C(0), in which M represents the amount of solute removed within a given period of time and C(0) the concentration of solute in blood before dialysis, divided by VB representing the volume of patient~s body fluid, namely, M/C(0)/VB is used as the above index. Although in the prior art in the performing of therapy simultaneously using PD (peritoneal dialysis) and HD (hemodialysis), common parameter being an index for prescription study is not known and thus relevant planning has been extremely difficult, in this method the dialytic effect of PD and HD can be expressed as an integrated sum as apparent from the above with the result that simple and clear planning for simultaneous use of PD and HD can be carried out.
L'invention concerne un procédé de planification de l'utilisation simultanée de la dialyse péritonéale et de l'hémodialyse caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à utiliser un effet dialytique présentant un indice commun à la dialyse péritonéale et à l'hémodialyse. Plus précisément, le procédé est caractérisé en ce que le quotient du rapport de M/C(0), dans lequel M représente la quantité de soluté éliminé pendant un laps de temps donné et C(0) désigne la concentration de soluté dans le sang avant la dialyse, divisés par VB représentant le volume du fluide corporel du patient, soit M/C(0)/VB utilisé comme indice susmentionné. Bien que dans l'art antérieur, lors de la mise en oeuvre simultanée de la thérapie au moyen de PD (dialyse péritonéale) et de HD (hémodialyse), un paramètre commun, soit un indice destiné à l'étude de prescription, n'était pas connu et que par conséquent une planification pertinente était extrêmement difficile à obtenir, dans ce procédé l'effet dialytique de PD et de HD peut être exprimé comme une somme intégrée telle que présentée ci-dessus indiquant qu'une planification simple et claire pour l'utilisation simultanée de PD et HD peut être effectuée.
