The invention relates to a plant for the hardened galvanisation of a continuously-running rolled steel strip, in which the strip is immersed in a coating tank containing a liquid metal mixture including, for example, zinc and aluminium to be deposited on the strip. The liquid mixture is permanently circulated between said coating tank and a preparation device, in which the temperature of the liquid mixture is deliberately lowered in order to reduce the iron solubility threshold and sufficiently high for initiating the fusion of at least one ingot comprising a zinc-aluminium Zn-Al alloy in a so-called fusion area of said preparation device, in an amount necessary for compensating for the liquid mixture used for deposition on the strip. According to several embodiments, the plant includes a circuit for circulating the liquid mixture that is thermally optimised.

La présente invention décrit une installation de galvanisation au trempé d'une bande d'acier laminé en défilement continu dans laquelle la bande est immergée dans un bac de revêtement contenant un mélange liquide de métal, comprenant par exemple de zinc et d'aluminium, à déposer sur la bande.
