ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Rather than manufacture corrugated drainage pipes in a factory and subsequently be faced with the problem, insurmountable in some cases, of how to transport them to the site where they are to be used, apparatus for producing them on or close to the site is disclosed. In this way, only the material for making the pipes need be transported to the site and such material, of course, occupies much less volume than the finished, hollow, pipes. The apparatus is in the form of a trailer which can be towed by a truck or tractor and it includes a platform or housing for an extruder and a mold chain and means for driving them.
