The invention provides plant binding proteins of N-acylethanolamines. Also provided are constructs comprising coding sequences for the binding proteins, plants transformed therewith and methods of use thereof. The invention allows the modification of plant signaling by N-acylethanolamines. Such modification may be used to produce plants that are improved with respect to growth, seed germination, pathogen response and stress tolerance.
L'invention concerne des protéines de liaison végétale de N-acylethanolamine. Sont également décrites des constructions contenant des séquences de codage pour les protéines de liaison, des plantes transformées au moyen de ces protéines et leurs méthodes d'utilisation. L'invention permet de modifier la signalisation de la plante par des N-acylethanolamines. De telles modifications peuvent être exploitées pour produire des plantes améliorées en termes de croissance, de germination, de réponses aux agents pathogènes et de tolérance au stress.
