This invention relates to an isolated nucleic acid fragment encoding a reproduction protein. The invention also relates to the construction of a chimeric gene encoding all or a portion of the reproduction protein, in sense or antisense orientation, wherein expresssion of the chimeric gene results in production of altered levels of the reproduction protein in a transformed host cell. The invention also provides isolated transcriptional regulatory elements and polynucleotides associated therewith.
