The present invention relates to plant transcriptional activators and mutants thereof. Furthermore, the present invention relates to uses of plant transcriptional activators and mutants thereof for increasing plant defence responses to pathogens. In particular, the present invention relates to a peptide which confers increased pathogen resistance upon a plant expressing said peptide, said peptide having a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:2, SEQ ID NO:3, and SEQ ID NO:4 mutated at a position selected from the group consisting of Glu271, Trp272 and residues between and including Pro123 to Gly128, an ortholog thereof, a homolog thereof, a functionally active fragment thereof or a functionally active variant thereof.
La présente invention concerne des activateurs transcriptionnels végétaux et des mutants de ceux-ci. Cette invention concerne également des utilisations d'activateurs transcriptionnels végétaux et de mutants de ceux-ci, afin d'augmenter des réponses de défense végétale à des agents pathogènes. Elle concerne notamment un peptide qui confère une meilleure résistance aux agents pathogènes lorsqu'un végétal exprime un tel peptide. Ce peptide présente une séquence choisie dans le groupe formé par SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:2, SEQ ID NO:3 et SEQ ID NO:4 présentant une mutation en une position choisie dans le groupe formé par Glu271, Trp272 et des résidus entre Pro123 et Gly128, Pro123 et Gly128 compris, un orthologue de ceux-ci, un homologue de ceux-ci, un fragment fonctionnel de ceux-ci ou un variant fonctionnel de ceux-ci.
