Abstract of the Disclosure A planting device for planting of plants said device comprising a frame to be mounted on a traction vehicle. A support arm extending backwards in parallel with the direction of movement of the traction vehicle is supported by said frame and is provided with planting displaceable in said direction of movement. The device further includes a plant feeding means displaceable between a delivery point of a plant distribution magazine and said planting means for transferring a plant from said magazine to said planting means. The plant feeding means is displaceable along the same path of movement as the front end of said support arm which supports the planting means. Said path of movement is pivotable around a verti- cal axis passing through said delivery point of said magazine. Thereby the planting means and the plant feeding means maintain their mutual position irrespective of the elevational and lateral retrac- ting movements of the planting means.
