Methods and compositions for suppressing gall formation in plant cells induced by Agrobacterium infection are disclosed. The methods involve introducing at least one DNA construct, encoding at least one untranslatable sense-strand RNA and/or double-stranded RNA, into a plant cell. Introduction of these molecules into the plant cell causes the plant cells to become resistant to gall formation.
L'invention concerne des procédés et compositions pour supprimer la formation de gales dans des cellules végétales provoquée par une infection par Agrobacterium. Ces procédés consistent à introduire dans une cellule végétale au moins une structure d'ADN codant pour un ARN avec brin à sens intraduisible et/ou pour un ARN bicaténaire. L'introduction de ces molécules dans la cellule végétale confère aux cellules végétales une meilleure résistance à la formation de gales.
