The invention relates to dental composites made of customary materials including: polymerizable monomers, initiators, fillers and other auxiliaries; and, additionally containing salts of acid-functional polymers, wherein the salt comprises mono- or polyvalent cations. Preferably, the salts of acid-functional polymers are cured glass ionomer cements. The dental compositions of this invention are plaque inhibiting.

L'invention concerne des composites dentaires fabriqués de matériaux habituels, dont des monomères polymérisables, des initiateurs, des matériaux d'obturation et d'autres auxiliaires, ainsi que de sels de polymères à fonction acide, le sel comprenant des cations mono ou polyvalents. De préférence, les sels des polymères à fonction acide sont des ciments ionomères de verre durcis. Les compositions dentaires de cette invention inhibent la formation de plaque.
