The present invention relates to a plasma-generating device comprising an anode, a cathode and an elongate plasma channel which extends substantially in the direction from said cathode to said anode. The plasma channel has a throttling portion which is arranged in said plasma channel between said cathode and an outlet opening arranged in said anode. Said throttling portion divides said plasma channel into a high pressure chamber, which is positioned on a side of the throttling portion closest to the cathode, and has a first maximum cross-sectional surface transversely to the longitudinal direction of the plasma channel, and a low pressure chamber, which opens into said anode and has a second maximum cross-sectional surface transversely to the longitudinal direction of the plasma channel, said throttling portion having a third cross-sectional surface transversely to the longitudinal direction of the plasma channel which is smaller than said first maximum cross-sectional surface and said second maximum cross-sectional surface. Moreover at least one intermediate electrode is arranged between said cathode and said throttling portion. The invention also relates to a plasma surgical device, use of such a plasma surgical device in surgery and a method of generating a plasma.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif générateur de plasma comprenant une anode, une cathode et un canal de plasma allongé qui s'étend substantiellement de la cathode à l'anode. Le canal de plasma comporte une partie d'étranglement qui est placée dans le canal de plasma entre la cathode et une ouverture d'évacuation située dans l'anode. Cette partie d'étranglement divise le canal de plasma en une chambre haute pression, qui se trouve sur un côté de la partie d'étranglement le plus proche de la cathode, et comporte une première surface de section transversale maximum perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale du canal de plasma, et en une chambre basse pression, qui débouche dans l'anode et comporte une seconde surface de section transversale maximum perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale du canal de plasma, laquelle partie d'étranglement comporte une troisième surface de section transversale perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale du canal de plasma qui est inférieure à la première surface de section transversale maximum et à la deuxième surface de section transversale maximum. En outre, au moins une électrode intermédiaire est disposée entre la cathode et la partie d'étranglement. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif chirurgical au plasma, l'utilisation d'un tel dispositif chirurgical au plasma en chirurgie et un procédé de génération d'un plasma.
