- 25 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plastic article such as a fiberglass or otherwise reinforced panel, preferably of a cured thermosetting polyester resin, has a volatizable ink or fiber-reactive disperse dye transferred into a surface thereof by sublimation from a sheet of wax- or silicone-coated transfer paper at a predetermined temperature and pressure for a predetermined dwell time.
