A plastic bag fastener and carrier for gathering and carrying several plastic shopping bags having embodied loops or handles. The bag fastener and carrier facilitates the manual handling of several plastic bags containing shopping goods, by accelerating the gathering of bags and balancing the load when carrying more than one bag. The invention comprises a hook, that is a rod which is curved as a flattened circle, with an upper hand grip section that includes an opening for passing bag handles. The lower section is formed like a rounded V and is used for hanging up bag handles. Both side sections are identical and smoothly curved. Also provided is a movable sleeve assembled onto the upper section. The sleeve acts as a lock for the bag access opening and adds cushion and strength to the grip section.
