ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a plastic T-shirt bag having overlying front and rear bag walls with upper edges forming the bag mouth and sealed lower edges forming a closed bottom, the bag walls including pleats extending vertically from the bag mouth downward with the pleats defining multiple overlying panels including an intermediate panel. The intermediate panel in each pleat, upon an outward lateral movement of the opposed bag handles, reverses its position to effect an opening of the pleat and a corresponding separation of the bag walls, particularly at the mouth thereof.
