ABSTRACT In a case of plastic material for containing a single marketable valuable piece as a coin or the like, a precious stone or a stamp or other item, comprising two superimposed elements at least one of which is transparent, with the said piece interposed between the elements and the elements connected at least all along the perimeter of their edges, the invention substantially provides that, between the two elements having the shape of a credit card and enclosing the piece, there is, as a safeguard not only against counterfeiting but also against forced opening, a printed decorative layer, such as a hologram or a decorative multi- ink layer anchored in a discontinuous manner, and representing a delaminable security printing pattern, which is visibly lacerated in the event of a forced opening of the case.
