A PLASTICIZED ACRYLONITRILE POLYMER COMPOSITION AN ORIENTED FILM THEREOF AND A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE FILM Abstract A plasticized polyacrylonitrile composition and an oriented film thereof contains as the plasticizer a liquid polyether prepared by reacting ethylene oxide and propylene oxide with at least one monohydric alcohol active hydrogen compound initiator having one to ten aliphatic carbon atoms to yield a heterized copolymer. The oriented plasticized film is produced by impregnating an aquagel film of the polymer with the polyether and sequentially or simultaneously stretching the aquagel film to orient the film.
