8CH-2459 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided a plasticized polycarbonate composition comprising in admixture, a high molecular weight aromatic carbonate polymer and a minor amount of a nitrogen containing plasticizer, whereby the melt thereof has a reduced melt viscosity in comparison with that intrinsic to polycarbonates alone, and whereby the plasticizer does not contribute to any substantial change in the molded plastics physical characteristics, and is sufficiently non-volatile to be used at the required melt temperatures during fabrication.
