On utilise comme plastifiant selon l'invention un mélange d'un diester d'un acide dicarboxylique dont la chaîne carbonée comprend 7 ou 8 atomes de carbone et du triéthylèneglycol avec au moins un adi- pate choisi parmi les adipates de dialkyle et les adipates d'alkyle et d'alkylaryle. Le polyvinylbutyral plastifié est utilisé sous forme de feuilles comme intercalaire dans les vitrages feuilletés.
