A plate for mass spectrometry comprising a support and, superimposed thereon, a coating containing PVDF (particularly, thin layer having PVDF deposited thereon); and a process for preparing the plate for mass spectrometry, characterized by coating a support surface with PVDF. Further, there is provided a method of analyte identification, comprising performing gel electrophoresis of an analyte-containing sample to thereby separate the analyte, transferring the separated analyte from the gel to a plate for mass spectrometry and subjecting the plate to mass spectrometry so as to effect analysis of the transferred analyte.

L'invention concerne une plaque pour spectrométrie de masse, comprenant un support et, superposé dessus, un revêtement à base de PVDF (notamment une fine couche présentant du PVDF déposé dessus). L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de préparer ladite plaque pour spectrométrie de masse, qui se caractérise en ce qu'il est prévu de munir une surface porteuse, d'un revêtement de PVDF. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé d'identification d'analyte, selon lequel il est prévu d'effectuer une électrophorèse en gel d'un échantillon contenant un analyte, afin de séparer ledit analyte ; de transférer l'analyte séparé, du gel à une plaque pour spectrométrie de masse et de soumettre la plaque à une spectrométrie de masse, pour effectuer une analyse de l'analyte transféré.
