This unique design of a decorative plate frame/holder is in the shape of the lower half of an octagon. This design allows for the ease of sliding the plate inside the holder, without damage to the plate caused by compressing, pinching or scratching. There are no wires, springs, or suction cups to pull apart, break or dry out. The plate is always accessible for removal, cleaning or closer inspection. This plate frame/holder design allows the face of the plate to be fully displayed, in order to maximize the view and beauty of each piece. The plate frame/holder fastens securely to the wall, so there is minimal risk of upset or plate breakage. The design measurements enclosed are prepared for a 9-1/4" plate. However, it is the uniqueness of the design that allows structure modifications to accommodate varying size, depth and weight of collectable plates.
