A method for the production of stabilised platelets, comprises the steps of: (i) pre-activating platelets, to induce the formation of microvesicles; (ii) contacting the pre-activated platelets with a carbohydrate, whereby the carbohydrate is incorporated into the platelets; and (iii) drying the thus- loaded platelets.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de plaquettes stabilisées, comprenant les étapes consistant: (i) à pré-activer les plaquettes de manière à déclencher la formation de microvésicules; (ii) à mettre en contact les plaquettes pré-activées avec un hydrate de carbone; ce dernier étant incorporé dans les plaquettes; puis (iii) à sécher les plaquettes ainsi chargées.
