An apparatus for controlling the operation of a platform screen door system comprises a first transceiver (4) mounted on a train (1) and a second transceiver (5) mounted on a railway platform or on the platform screen door system. The first and second transceivers communicate with one another such that when the train is stopped within a predetermined tolerance adjacent to a door of the platform screen door system (3), the train can request that the platform screen doors open. The apparatus transmits a closed and locked signal to the second train when the doors close enabling the train to depart. As the closed and locked signal is latched in, the apparatus is suitable for retrofitting.
La présente invention concerne un appareil, commandant le fonctionnement d'un système de porte palière de quai de gare, qui comprend un premier émetteur-récepteur (4) monté sur un train (1) et un second émetteur-récepteur (5) monté sur un quai de gare ou sur le système de porte palière du quai.
