In a process for preparing a dehydrogenation catalyst of the type in which a support comprising zinc aluminate is impregnated with at least one of platinum and tin from an impregnation solution, the improvement comprises simultaneously impregnating the support with the platinum and the tin by contacting the support with an impregnation solution which comprises, in solution, a tin compound, a platinum compound, and a carboxylic acid. The thus prepared catalyst can be employed in the dehydrogenation of at least one alkane containing ~-8 carbon atoms per molecule in the presence of steam.
Dans une méthode de préparation d'un catalyseur de déshydrogénation avec un support de type aluminate de zinc, imprégné d'au moins un des métaux platine ou étain à partir d'une solution d'imprégnation, l'amélioration consiste à imprégner simultanément le support avec le platine et l'étain, en mettant en contact le support avec une solution d'imprégnation renfermant, en solution, un composé de l'étain, un composé du platine et un acide carboxylique. Le catalyseur ainsi préparé peut être utilisé pour la déshydrogénation d'au moins un alcane renfermant 8 atomes de carbone par molécule, en présence de vapeur.
