PLATINUM CATALYZED PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF ALPHA,OMEGA-SILYLALKENES AND ORGANOSILOXANE COPOLYMERS ABSTRACT The present invention is a process for the preparation of .alpha.,.OMEGA.-silylalkenes and organosiloxane copolymers and for the compositions prepared by the process. A platinum catalyst is employed which selectively catalyzes the hydrosilylation of the terminal carbons of an .alpha.,.OMEGA.-triene with an organosiloxane containing at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen.
