A playpen frame structure includes a rectangular top rail frame supported by four upright primary legs. The top rail frame comprises four rails, each constituted by two bar members pivotally connected to a mid-joint which allows the bar members to be rotatable about pivots mounted on the mid- joint. Inside each of the bar members, a resilient V-shaped retainer which has two legs each having a retaining pin formed thereon to extend into holes formed on the bar member and the mid-joint so as to retain the bar member on the mid-joint in an expanded condition. A release member is provided for pushing the retaining pins into the bar members and thus breaking the engagement between the mid-joint and the bar members. There is also provided a reinforcement structure on the lower ends of the primary legs to firmly hold the primary legs in position and thus avoid accident collapses of the legs. The reinforcement structure comprises four reinforcement bars respectively extending diagonally from the lower ends of the legs and pivotally connected to a central joint which is supported on ground by secondary legs extending therefrom and two secondary reinforcement bars connecting between two adjacent diagonal reinforcement bars to firmly hold the diagonal reinforcement bars in position.
