This invention is used to help with troubleshooting faults that happen in all kinds of electrical control panels. The invention will monitor the outputs from the control panel to the field devices e.g. solenoid valves and coils. The invention will monitor if there is a faulty wire to the field devices e.g. solenoid valves and coils. There will also be a fuse or circuit breaker on this device so that this will make my device simple to install by removing the fuses that are already in the existing panel and replacing it with my device. It can also be used in new panels. You can include my device in the design of new panels. The types of faults it will monitor is a low voltage fault, a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker, or a broken wire to the field devices e.g. solenoid valve or coil. If a fault is detected on the device it will stay in a faulted state. The LED will flash a certain amount of times to indicate what the fault is and where the fault is located. There will also be 2 remote outputs, it can be used to wire it up to the input of a PLC and it will let the PLC know there has been a fault detected on one of the outputs. The one remote output will indicate a fuse fault or low voltage fault; the other remote will indicate an open circuit fault. To clear the fault state you will have to push the reset button or power down the device.
