A B S T R A C T A plug is provided for mounting a blind frame, either solid or hollow, particularly at a position spaced from a wall. The plug consists of a sleeve, with an inner end adapted to be suspended within a wall and an anchoring screw adapted to be inserted into the sleeve. The sleeve has a resiliently compressible expanded outer end which is suitable for engaging the frame to be mounted. The inner end of the sleeve is expanded by an expanding body that is internally threaded for engagement on the anchoring screw.
