To contrive an enhancement of reliability of mounting a plug cap to a rear portion of a spark plug. A plug cap guide is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape so as to contain a plug cap therein and to have a tip end portion insertable in a plug hole. The plug cap guide is provided with a pressing portion for pressing he plug cap toward the side of a spark plug. A positioning and fixing element for determining the position in the axial direction of the plug cap guide and fixing the plug cap guide is provided between a rear portion of the plug cap guide and a head cover.
