A plug connector connects distal ends of electrically conducting wires and engages receptacles. Due to this engagement, electricity is conducted through the electrically conducting wires and the contacts of the receptacles. The plug connector comprises a substrate for an insulating body, and a film-shaped conducting part formed on a surface of the substrate. This film-shaped conducting part makes contact with the contact of the receptable when the plug connector and receptable are engaged with each other. In operation, a distal end of the electrically conducting wire is connected to the conducting part.
