CASE 2972 PLUG-IN BALLAST Abstract of the Disclosure An electrical ballast suitable for use with fluorescent lamps is provided with transition connectors for wiring up the ballast to the electrical supply and to the lamp which it operates. The transition connector is of a simple, low cost construction, which receives solid conductors in a range of sizes, in push-in connecting relation, and obviates the former requirement of providing a permanent wiring harness as the connection means.
