An electric charger fitted with a plug (7) for wireless plugging into a wall socket, with a mains adapter and with a receptacle for holding a small low- voltage electrical appliance to be charged and fitted with an electric energy accumulator, is characterised in that the charger is fitted with at least one adapter (4a) for a voltage socket of the low-voltage appliance and/or with a holder containing a primary winding for inducing a secondary winding in the low-voltage appliance which can be mounted on the holder.
