PLUG-IN ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE EXTENDER Abstract of the Disclosure A plug-in electrical receptacle extender for extending an existing receptacle to project through an opening in panelling, or the like cover material, used in renovating existing interior walls is used in association with an ordinary receptacle cover plate, thereby eliminating any need to relocate the existing receptacle. A cover plate extender is provided for use as a spacer under the outer cover plate in instances where the dis- tance between the existing wall and renovating wall surfaces is small as compared with distances encountered when the outer wall covering material is applied over the spacer furring or the like, thereby simplifying installation while at the same time improving appearance.
