60 BA 133 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rechargeable plug-in battery compatible with printed circuits and the like has at least one rechargeable storage cell mounted inside a battery case. At least two terminal pins extend through the battery case for insertion into a mating socket. Inside the case, the pins are welded directly to the cell terminals. Recesses formed in the interior of the base and cover portions of the battery case receive the storage cell, or cells, so as to restrain them against movement.
