ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electrical socket assembly, to be mounted on a printed circuit board or similar support to form a plug-in unit, has a front plate with openings for plugs, a socket holder integral with the rear of the front plate , and electrical sockets in the holder, accessible through the openings in the front plate. The rear of the holder is open so that different socket arrangements can be inserted. It is closed in use by a snap-on cover with openings through which connection pins of the sockets extend.
