The invention relates to a plug-type connector with a cable (10), which has at least one line (11), a contact carrier (50; 70), which has at least one contact element (13; 15), which is connected to the at least one line (11) of the cable (10), and an encapsulation (40), which is injected around the cable (10) and the contact carrier (50; 70), wherein a sealing element (30) for sealing the encapsulation (40) off from the outer sheath of the cable (10) is provided.
