A plumbing fitting for use in a bidet or a roman tub comprises a housing having a water inlet a check valve at the water inlet and a chamber fed by water from the inlet. The chamber includes first and second oudets and a diverter valve is provided in the chamber. The diverter valve is vertically moveable between a down position blocking the second outlet and exposing the first outlet to water flow in the chamber and an up position blocking the first outlet and exposing the second outlet to the water flow. The fitting is provided with a lift handle atop the housing for opening the diverter valve.
