ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plunger to remove a blockage in a toilet. There is a cylinder having an internal passageway with an inlet at one end and an outlet at the other end. A valve is between the inlet and the outlet to control flow in the passageway between the inlet and the outlet. The position of the valve can be controlled. A flexible bell member surrounds the outlet. Reciprocation of the cylinder generates pressure by compression of the bell to remove blockage, assisted by waterflow through the outlet.
