The application relates to a pneumatically actuated pneumatic valve (46) having a housing (62, 64, 66) with supply (70), exhaust (72) and pilot pressure (88) ports and a piston (82) confined between first (84) and second (76) diaphragms and slidable in the housing to be operated by the supply and pilot pressure in order to open or close a flow path (74) between supply and exhaust port, the second diaphragm in the closed valve position being pressed against a respective valve seat by elevated pilot pressure acting on the piston. Moreover a method of controlling a pneumatic valve actuator including the use of such a valve (46) is described.
L'invention se rapporte à une vanne (46) pneumatique à commande pneumatique équipée d'un logement (62, 64, 65) muni de ports de pression d'alimentation (70), d'évacuation (72) et de pression pilote (88) ainsi que d'un piston (82) logé entre la première (84) et la seconde (76) membrane et pouvant coulisser dans le logement de manière à être commandé par la pression d'alimentation et la pression pilote afin d'ouvrir ou de ferme un trajet de flux (74) entre le port d'alimentation et le port de sortie, la seconde membrane en position de vanne fermée étant pressée contre un siège de vanne respectif au moyen de la pression pilote élevée qui agit sur le piston. Par ailleurs, l'invention porte aussi sur un procédé de contrôle d'un actionneur de vanne pneumatique et d'utilisation de cette vanne (46).
