A rivet gun includes a pneu-matic motor (4), that drives a seg-ment stem (7). A pneumatic cylin-der (21) actuates a hydraulic cylin-der (22) which sends oil under pressure to an expansion chamber (10) provided for moving back the segment stem (7) and buckling the rivet (2) fixing it to a laminate structure (100). The rivet gun also includes a change-over switching device (30) linked to controls (50, 60) for reversing rotation of the motor (4). The controls (60) in-clude an inlet valve (61) operated by a trigger (64) for connecting a compressed air infeed duct (14) with a feed-discharge duct (23) leading to the pneumatic cylinder (21). A discharge valve (63) is dis-posed in series with the inlet valve (61) and has an adjustment ring (176) for adjusting of the maximum traction force. Another discharge valve (90) is disposed in series with the discharge valve (63) previously mentioned and is provided for ad-justment of the stroke of the seg-ment stem (7).
L'invention porte sur un pistolet à riveter comportant un moteur pneumatique (4) entraînant une tige segmentée (7). Un piston pneumatique (21) agit sur un piston hydraulique (22) qui envoie de l'huile sous pression dans une chambre d'expansion (10) conçue pour faire revenir en arrière la tige segmentée (7) et mater le rivet (2), et le fixer à une structure en plaques (100). Le pistolet à riveter comporte également un commutateur (30) relié aux commandes (50, 60) et servant à inverser le sens de rotation du moteur (4). Lesdites commandes (60) comportent une soupape d'admission (61) commandée par une gâchette (64) pour relier un conduit (14) d'arrivée d'air comprimée à un conduit d'admission/décharge (23) alimentant le piston pneumatique (21). Une soupape de décharge (63) montée en série avec la soupape d'admission (61) comporte une bague de réglage agissant sur la force la force maximale de traction. Une autre soupape de décharge (90), montée en série avec la soupape de décharge (63) sert à régler la course de la tige segmentée (7).
