The invention relates to a device for affixing adhesive labels to goods packages, with a cylinder. Inside the cylinder, a piston is moved in that by way of connections in the cylinder, air with negative or positive pressure is made to impinge upon the top and bottom of the piston. On one side, the cylinder is closed off by a pneumatic damping unit. The movement of the piston is transferred to a stamp which is used for affixing adhesive labels to the goods packages. It is the object of the present invention to improve the dynamic characteristics of a device of this type. According to the invention, this object is met in that the first connection is located in such a position on the cylinder, that it can be closed off by the wall of the piston such that the build-up of negative pressure above the piston is stopped shortly before reaching the state of the first dead centre position and while in it.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mise en place d'étiquettes auto-adhésives sur des emballages de produits avec un cylindre. Dans le cylindre se meut un piston (2) dans lequel agissent des dépressions ou des surpressions grâce à l'apport d'air pressurisé via des connexions (3,4) réalisées dans le cylindre au niveau de la partie supérieure et de la partie inférieure du piston. Le cylindre est refermé d'un côté par une unité d'amortissement pneumatique (14). Le mouvement du piston (2) est transmis à un tampon (6) servant à mettre en place les étiquettes auto-adhésives sur les emballages de produits. L'objet de l'invention est la réalisation d'un dispositif de ce type ayant de meilleures propriétés dynamiques. Pour cela, la première connexion (3) est amenée sur le cylindre (1) dans une position qui lui permet d'être refermée par la paroi du piston (2) de sorte que la production de la dépression au-dessus du piston est stoppée juste avant et pendant le premier point mort.
